Kenzie Fedewa, Counseling Intern
I am a graduate student at Central Michigan University studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Central Michigan University in 2018. I have gained experience as a counselor at the Community Center for Counseling and Development and Central Michigan University.
As a clinician, I use a cognitive-behavioral and person-centered approach, stemming from a strong therapeutic relationship and a socioecological perspective. I aspire to create a safe space for healing for clients coming from any background.
I practice self-care by spending time with loved ones, using humor, and giving myself time to do the things I love such as keeping an exercise routine, listening and learning to play music, drawing, and painting.
I began working as a Counseling Intern for Be Well Counseling and Consulting in 2020.
